Gifts from your Heart.

You have an outrageous personality trait: your black hair, which to me seems a little unusual since you have green eyes and olive skin. Surprisingly, you’ve shaped my life in every aspect imaginable. Throughout the years, I’ve grown and you’ve led me to the right path to a better future and I feel like I owe you so much that I keep going to make you proud. You’ve stuck by me even if we don’t agree on the same things but never stopped me from living my life to certain limits. You’ve allowed me to learn my lessons by stepping in when I get into difficult situations and pull me through. I have to admit that even though you have very strong attitude and can be serious at times, you're really funny and usually always make my days brighter. By telling us jokes of when you were younger and drawing stick figures of the journeys you went through, while our stomachs would ache because of the laugh attacks. With your manly voice, you give me crucial pep talks that leave me speechless. I remember you making me sit next you on the couch while you would run your fingers through the tips of my hair. You have served me with what I need and want and I find it strange, but somehow you have always put me and my siblings before yourself. Dad, thank you for teaching me that it's not the size of a man's body that matter. No, all that matters is the size of your heart. Thank you for making that delicious soup and chicken breast that smells like toasted bread, making my taste buds ask for more.
